Nevertheless, win or lose Manny Pacquiao is still the pride of the Philippines.
From rags to riches, this is actually the best way to describe Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. We all know how Manny Pacquiao and his family struggled to make ends meet in his younger age.
After years of hardship in his boxing career, Manny is now considered as one of the richest man in the Philippines and he is in the Forbes list of the world's 100 highest-paid athletes as well.
Aside from being an athlete, he is also a politician, businessman, celebrity and endorser. His net worth is at Php 31.1 billion which makes him one of the country’s richest politicians.
According to his statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) in 2016, it is revealed that he prefers tangible assets rather than financial investment, 46 percent of his assets is consist of real estate properties.
He has prime real estate in Hancock Park in Los Angeles which was costs Php 115 million and a mansion in Forbes Park as well. A total of 103 properties nationwide.
Another 43 percent is composed of jewelry, cash, and other personal properties. Another 4 percent for the car and other vehicles.And only 7 percent is invested in various businesses which are not included in his SALN. However, some of his businesses were actually reported publicly.

- Gtoken, a startup that claims to be the “world’s first crowdsourced mobile publisher and advertising platform”
- Enterprises under Pacquiao Group of Companies, which include Roadhaus Economy Hotel, Pacman Wildcard Gym, JMP Shalom Travel and Tours, Pacman H20, Team Pacquiao Store, MP Princess Digital Printing Solution and Pacman Beach Resort.
- Waterotor Energy Technologies, an Ottawa-based clean technology company that aims to bring affordable renewable energy to the Philippines.
- ONE Championship, a Singapore-based sports media company.
Recently, Pacman had a fight with Australian fighter Jeff Horn in Brisbane Australia, it was known as “Battle of Brisbane” He earned at least $10 million in prize money.
