Right after it was confirmed that Liza Soberano will be the next iconic heroine “Darna”. Liza then accepted the offer and never waste time to prepare for the role physically and mentally.
Liza even admitted in one interview that she is very nervous because people are really expecting a lot from her. She promised to give her best for the project and to not disappoint the viewers.
Her fans are also very excited to see Liza as the next Darna. However, it’s not only Liza’s fans who wanted to see this iconic sexy heroine to fly again on a big screen. We all know that there are also many Darna male fans who are waiting to see this sexy fictional heroine to fight and fly wearing her iconic red and gold sexy costume.
Darna costume has varied over time, although almost all costumes remained the same in some form of bikini with gold star in each brassiere cap, red helmet with ruby encrusted gold winged medallion, gold bracelets, golden medallion belt with a loincloth in the middle, and almost knee-high red stiletto boots.
Liza’s next Darna costume has been a hot topic these days in different social media.Some say it’s gonna be a little bit conservative compared from previous Darna costumes while others express that it should remain the same just like previous one. But for Liza, she stated from her one interview that wearing skimpy Darna outfit would not be a problem since she’s turning 20 next year, she even added that it’s about time.
However, Enrique Gil, her rumored boyfriend, has a different opinion from Liza because he’s a bit hesitant for this Darna costume for her. He said in his recent interview that two-piece Darna costume is too much revealing for her and if possible he’s asking to slightly change the costume due to the fighting scenes from the movie. But if it’s not possible, then he's just asking to make it sure that her costume should be perfectly fit for her and it should be made from tough materials as well, Enrique said.
