Must Read: The Danger Of Phone Charger Around Kids

Failure to take proper care of our stuffs may get us into trouble of this is our cell phone charger in which we sometimes forget to unplug it.

A netizen took Facebook to share her experience and warn other parents about the danger of cell phone chargers around kids. She didn't intend to share the graphic photos of her daughter but she had realized that there are other mommies out there who also needs to learn from her experience.

Courtney Davis, is a mother of the 19th month old girl, Gabby, who acquired burns after she stuck the charger inside her mouth on September 28th. It was then confirmed by the doctor that her baby suffered from electrical burn.

She’s just very thankful since Gabby hasn’t acted like it bothers her at all.

Courtney recounted:

“ Any other day my charger wouldn’t have been plugged up in her reach but bc of a bunch of stuff going on that day I didn’t have time to move it. It took all of a few seconds for her to get burned. She had never tried to put in her mouth and she had never messed with it. The one day it isn’t moved she stuck it in her mouth and got a severe burn”

Courtney is now calling the attention of all mothers and child caregivers to keep phone chargers away from kids.

“My daughter was lucky the next kid may not be as lucky as her” She added.

The medical director of the Ross Tilley Burn Center at Sunnybrook Hospital, Dr. Marc Jeschke told the Global News that Gabby’s case happen quite often. He said: ”Kids can chew on cables, bite through and it can do significant damage. I would not suspect this to be a hoax...I’ve been working with burns since the 90's and this is very common”
