A Four-Year-Old Girl Has Started Her Menstrual Period And Will Soon Experience Menopause At Five

Emily Dover is a four-year-old girl in Australia who is battling from a rare health condition called Addison's disease. It is a disorder that occurs when your body produces insufficient amounts of certain hormones produced by adrenal glands. This rare disease occurs in all age groups affects both sexes, it can also be life-threatening.

Emily was born normal, but after a week her unusual growth began. She was the size-of a one-year-old when she was four-month-old and at the age of two she was like a girl hitting puberty.

Due to her condition her body mature at a very fast pace. At the age of two she has already grown breast and had her menstrual period at the age of four and it is believed to have her menopause at the of five and because of that, she has to go through the distressing side effect of the reproductive phase in which only older woman should experience.

Moreover, she began to have cystic acne, strong body odor and hair on her forehead, vagina, and back.She also bullied at school since she’s taller and bigger than her friends.

Aside from Addison’s disease she’s also has precocious puberty in which her body has an early onset of puberty, she is also suffering from autism spectrum and adrenal hyperplasia

Her parents are now asking for help as their daughter hasn’t experienced being a little kid.

The girl mother (Tam Dover) said:

“Because she has trouble toileting, she thought she had done a poo in her undies. We used panty liners and it didn’t last more than a day”

“She only had her period again the other day. She hasn’t had a chance to be a little girl. She’s having to learn how to put panty liners on for menstruating.”

The little girl is now being conscious with her body due to its drastic changes. Her doctors will soon start a hormone replacement therapy to control her growth.

Mrs. Dover said  that they are having fundraising campaign for Emily because her treatment is very costly.
